What better event to donate to than the Mistletoe Ball benefiting The Herbie Fund at Sick Kids Hospital?

A Fit Family gift certificate will be up for auction at the Mistletoe Ball Silent Auction on December 6th, 2008. This year’s benefit will be in the brand new Michael Lee Chin Crystal building at the Royal Ontario Museum. The Mistletoe Ball & Silent Auction is the Herbie Fund’s biggest annual fundraiser. This event raises over $400,000 annually with all proceeds going to The Herbie Fund at The Hospital for Sick Children. The Herbie Fund arranges life-saving and life-changing operations for children around the world who could not otherwise afford to travel to Toronto and procure medical treatment.

As we settle in for the holiday season, let’s be reminded of those families who cannot provide as adequately for their children, in our own city and around the world. Donate a toy, load up a bag of non-perishable goods for a food drive, or simply write a cheque.
